The Nigerian Polytechnic Students housing investment scheme was launched earlier this month by National Association of Polytechnic Students in partnership with DOMAK Group limited to give students the opportunity to acquire land and build their own house.
There are thousands of students that showed interest in it but before you register here are things you need to know about this NPSHIS.
The housing investment scheme platform is meant for polytechnic students only: Only polytechnic students in Nigeria are eligible to register and such student should be in either ND or HND at any level. IT students are not eligible to register.
The Investment scheme is meant for students who have other means of earning income: Before you register, it should be noted that this housing investment scheme is for students who have other means of earning income. If you solely depend on your parents, there is no need for you to register. This is because you will be required to choose a payment plan maybe daily, weekly or monthly. The amount for daily plan is #350, weekly is #2.4k+ and monthly 9k+.
Therefore if you choose weekly plan that means you will be paying #2.k every week for the period of 2 years. If you do the Calculation very well the total amount is not up-to 300k. As we all know it is difficult for a Nigerian student to have 300k in his account this is among the reason why the housing investment scheme was launched for all polytechnic students and once you start the investing, after your ND/HND programme, DONMAK Group limited will handover your land documents to you thereafter which it is now at your own interest whether to resell the land, start the foundation to build a house on it or use it for farming purpose.
If you register and choose any of the plans suitable by you, you have access to own land in Abuja the capital city of Nigeria, Nasarawa and other 34 states after your ND/HND programme.
Payment Duration Is 2Years.
The payment duration of the housing investment scheme is 2years either you are in year1 or 2 what matters is that you will pay for the land within 2 years before the land documents will be handover to you.
