Experience in the National Assembly is a vital and valuable asset to the party and the constituencies being represented.
It takes considerable amount of time to be effective at law making, to understand the system, to move bills or motions and to have a grasp of the paraphernalia of governance at the centre.
Their political party and the constituencies they represent are usually the beneficiaries of such experience. More so, senators that have stayed longer in the Senate have displayed a rare capacity to attract more projects to their constituents as well as the privilege of rank, in canvassing their positions or lending their voice to national debates.
Indeed, Senator Tayo Alasoadura has raised the bar and set a standard for legislative representation, performance, and overall capacity for our future representatives in his three and half years at the National Assembly.
He has sponsored five bills and raised motions that have added value to governance in Nigeria.
Some of the bills are the Petroleum Industry Governance Bill, Host Community Bill, Adeyemi University of Education Bill, Nuclear Safety, Security and Safeguard Bills(SB 695).
Already in line is the bill on Federal University of Agriculture which the Senator is intensifying effort to get listed as soon as the Senate annual vacation is over.
In Akure South, Alasoadura constructed bridges at Jeje street Oke Aro, Atipere around jaja, oda road, onibode at ajipowo behind old custom house Ondo road, Ala River linking odo joka and araromi in Akure, Ala River at the redeem church Ijapo. This is just to mention a few of what he has done in Akure South alone as the list is unending.
The remaining local government in the central senatorial district are not left out of the packages.
He made empowerments and cash gifts to all the Ondo Senatorial districts as depict by our pictorials.
One good term deserves another.
