In attempt to provide drinkable water to their immediate community and beyond, two female Westley Girls Senior Secondary School in Yaba, Lagos State, Elizabeth Korolo Boluwatife and Abdulsalam Ajara, have won the award for inventing a water purifying device, that turns contaminated water into safe drinking water.
The project was the best because it is cost-effective, economically viable, practicable and scalable.
