The RS Berkane Football Club on Saturday 16th September held Bendel Insurance FC to a 2.2 draw at the Sam Ogbemusia stadium in Benin City, Nigeria in the second round, first leg clash of the Confederation Cup.
Imade Osarenkhore opened the scoring for Bendel Insurance a few minutes to the close of first-half before the Moroccans equalized. Vincent Augustus’s goal could not seal the victory for Bendel Insurance as RS Berkane came from Behind again to equalize.
Bendel Insurance will now be hoping for a miracle in Morocco when they travel to play the second leg.
It was a good game of football even in a bad playing condition due to heavy downpour this morning. Insurance will face the Moroccan side in two weeks for the second led.
