The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has vowed to continue prioritizing the welfare and well-being of the elderly, weak, and other vulnerable persons in the State.
During a Thanksgiving service held for late Deaconess Victoria Omorogieva Ojemudia, Obaseki praised the philanthropic life of the late matriarch and emphasized the importance of taking care of the elderly and vulnerable members of society.
He added that it is not only a tradition but also a policy and responsibility of the State government to support the weak in society.
In her sermon, Revd. (Mrs.) Omo Ikirodah emphasized the importance of following the examples laid by Jesus Christ, being holy in all things, and forgiving others.
