The senator representing Borno North senatorial district, chairman Senate Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights, and Legal Matters, Dist. Sen. Barr. Mohammed Tahir Monguno in collaboration with the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI) trained and empowered 400 constituents.
The training which commenced on Tuesday, 12th December, ended today Saturday 16th, December 2023. The participants were trained in Soap making and groundnut oil processing. At the end of the training, each of the participants received a certificate of training, and a sum of N60,000.00 as a starter package.
At the closing ceremony, stakeholders and other dignitaries were in attendance. Among others were LGA APC party chairmen, LGAs TCC chairmen, SSAs, SAs, religious leaders, and youth and women group leaders from the northern part of the state.
While delivering his closing remarks, the representative of Sen. Monguno, Alhaji Tahiru Goni Guzalama LGA APC party chairman said; “Sen. Monguno is a God’s sent leader, we did not regret our ballots and we would not Insha Allah.
This skills acquisition program is one of the best human capital development. Therefore, I urge you to use the knowledge received and the starter package judiciously. Pls, accept my congratulations.
To the benefactor, there are no words to use to thank him for his kind gesture and full representation of our district at the National Assembly, but I want to use this medium to assure him that our prayers, support and loyalty will not be compromised.”
