Edo State governor Orders Closure of Satellite Campuses of Ambrose Alli University

Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has issued a directive for the immediate closure of all satellite campuses of Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, operating outside the main campus.

The Governor’s decision comes as part of a broader effort to improve the standard of education at the university, with the State government having made substantial investments into its development. Governor Okpebholo has emphasised that all academic programmes and courses currently being offered by the university will now be strictly confined to the main campus in Ekpoma, Edo State.

In accordance with the Governor’s order, the Governing Council and the University’s Management have been instructed to implement this directive without delay, ensuring full compliance across all levels of the institution.
