…Aduwawa Division’s Successful Operation Leads to Key Arrest

Edo State Police command has successfully recovered a stolen Toyota Hilux and arrested a 30-year-old suspect following a targeted operation on 22nd April 2025. The vehicle, a white Toyota Hilux with the registration number EDO 757 EA, was taken from its parked location along Palace Road, Uteh, on 14th April at approximately 5:50 am.

The recovery came after intensive efforts by the Aduwawa Divisional Police Station, backed by technical intelligence. According to a statement released to Uptown Press Nigeria by the Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Moses Joel Yamu, the suspect, identified as Friday Bassey, is currently in custody and has provided valuable information to assist with ongoing investigations.

In response to the arrest, the Commissioner of Police, CP Monday Agbonika, praised the dedicated work of the officers involved, commending their diligence and professionalism in recovering the stolen property and apprehending the suspect.
