By-Election: Imasuen Hails Ikpea, Omosede Igbinedion on Election Wins

Senator Neda Imasuen, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions, has congratulated Dr. Joseph Ikpea and Barrister Gabriella Omosede Igbinedion on their victories in the just-concluded by-elections in Edo State.

In a statement on Monday, Imasuen described Ikpea’s election as Senator representing Edo Central as a triumph for the Esan people, noting his track record as “a counsellor, adviser, investor and human capacity development expert” whose presence in the Senate would deepen quality representation.

He also commended Omosede Igbinedion’s return to the House of Representatives as Member for Ovia Federal Constituency, praising her resilience and legislative experience from her earlier tenure between 2015 and 2019.

“Together, their victories are not only personal milestones but renewed hope for Edo people under the APC,” Imasuen declared, adding that he was confident both lawmakers would deliver on their mandates.
