Senator Neda Imasuen, representing Edo South Senatorial District, has extended his heartfelt felicitations to Muslims in Edo South and across Nigeria on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Maulud.
In a statement marking the celebration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W), Senator Imasuen called on Islamic faithful to remember Nigeria in their prayers, particularly its political, religious, and traditional leaders.
He described the Holy Prophet as an embodiment of peace, unity, sacrifice, and godliness, and urged Muslims to imbibe these enduring values in their daily lives.
“Let us remember to pray fervently for our nation to achieve greater unity and progress among our fellow countrymen and women, irrespective of religion or place of origin, and promote stronger commitment to the peace, unity, and stability of the nation,” the Senator said.
While wishing all Muslims a happy and peaceful celebration, Senator Imasuen concluded with warm greetings: “Eid Milad Un Nabi Mubarak!”
