Deputy Chief Whip of the Edo State House of Assembly and Member representing Oredo West Constituency, Dr. Richard Osaro Edosa, is set to be honoured with a Distinguished Service Award at the Best of Edo Awards (BOEA) 2025.
According to a statement issued by his media team, the award recognises Dr. Edosa’s unwavering commitment to legislative excellence, community empowerment, and transformative public service.
The lawmaker, who has earned a reputation for integrity, accessibility and results-driven leadership, is being celebrated for his impactful contributions to good governance, youth empowerment, education, and infrastructure development across Edo State.
The statement described the recognition as “a reflection of the people’s trust and a reward for genuine service to humanity,” noting that Dr. Edosa’s style of representation continues to inspire a new generation of leaders in the state.
The event is scheduled to be held on 16 November 2025 at the Victor Uwaifo Creative Hub in Benin City by 4 p.m., and is expected to draw dignitaries, community leaders, and well-wishers from across the State.
The organisers of the Best of Edo Awards said the 2025 edition will celebrate individuals whose work embodies the spirit of service and excellence, qualities exemplified by Hon. Dr. Edosa Richard throughout his political career.
