The Executive Chairman of the Edo State Sports Commission, Hon. Amadin Desmond Enabulele, has congratulated Governor Monday Okpebholo on his one year in office, describing his administration as one defined by visionary leadership, infrastructural renewal, and inclusive development.
In a statement issued on Wednesday in Benin City, Enabulele lauded the governor’s SHINE Agenda, which he said had delivered steady progress across critical sectors, particularly in youth empowerment and sports development.
“Your Excellency, your unwavering commitment to grassroots sports and the welfare of our athletes continues to inspire a new generation of talent and rekindle the competitive spirit that defines our great state,” Enabulele stated. “Edo people are proud of your leadership and the positive direction your administration has charted within just one year.”
The sports chief reaffirmed the Commission’s full support for the governor’s vision of deploying sports as a strategic tool for youth engagement, social cohesion, and economic growth.
He commended the governor’s hands-on approach to governance, noting that the administration’s people-centred policies had revitalised hope among Edo citizens and restored confidence in public institutions.
Enabulele further prayed for God’s continued wisdom, good health, and strength for Governor Okpebholo as he leads Edo State “to even greater heights of peace, progress, and prosperity.”
“Congratulations, Your Excellency, on this remarkable milestone,” he added.
