Cows, rice and other essential food items flowed freely across Oredo West and parts of Edo State as Hon. Dr. Edosa Osaro Richard brought seasonal cheer to hundreds of households in a wide-ranging festive outreach that underscored his growing reputation for grassroots engagement.
In a gesture reflecting the spirit of Christmas and the values of service and compassion, the lawmaker distributed cows, chickens, bags of rice of varying sizes and other cooking essentials to residents of Oredo West Constituency and beneficiaries across Edo State. The initiative was aimed at easing the festive burden on families and ensuring that more people could celebrate the season with dignity.

Hon. Dr. Edosa Osaro Richard, who was elected in 2023, has maintained a consistent tradition of festive support for his constituents. Every December, each of the six wards in Oredo West receives a cow, alongside the distribution of rice, chicken and other food items, a practice that has become a hallmark of his people-centred representation.
Speaking through his media team, the lawmaker extended warm Christmas and New Year greetings to constituents, wishing them peace, joy, good health and prosperity in the year ahead. He reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare of the people, noting that leadership must be measured by its impact on everyday lives, particularly during challenging times.
