Venezuela Calls for Peace and Cooperation with the U.S

The Acting Vice President of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, has sent a strong message to the international community and the United States, reaffirming her country’s commitment to peace, mutual respect, and international collaboration.

In her statement, Rodríguez emphasized that Venezuela seeks to live free from external threats, stressing that global peace begins with stability within each nation.

She highlighted her government’s priority of fostering balanced and respectful relations between Venezuela, the U.S., and other regional countries, based on the principles of sovereignty and non-interference.

Rodríguez also invited the U.S. government to cooperate with Venezuela on a shared development agenda under international law, aiming to promote sustainable coexistence.

She underlined that both the peoples of the two countries and the wider Latin American region deserve dialogue and peaceful solutions over conflict or war, echoing the longstanding message of President Nicolás Maduro.

Concluding her statement, Rodríguez expressed her vision for a peaceful and fully sovereign Venezuela, where citizens come together to build a prosperous future.
