The Edo State Police Command has issued a final notice to applicants in the ongoing 2025/2026 recruitment exercise, announcing that the physical and credential screening will close on Saturday, April 18, 2026.
In a statement released on Thursday, the Commissioner of Police, Monday Agbonika, urged all candidates who missed their earlier screening dates or are yet to be invited despite being qualified, to take advantage of the last window to regularise their status.
The Command also appealed to applicants who have unresolved screening issues to present themselves before the deadline, stressing that the exercise will run daily until 6:00 PM.
Candidates sitting for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examinations during the period have been advised to proceed directly to the screening venue after their papers to avoid disqualification.
The police warned that failure to appear before the cut-off date would be treated as a voluntary withdrawal, as no extension will be granted under any circumstance.
Reaffirming its stance, the Command emphasised its commitment to a transparent and merit-driven recruitment process, urging all eligible applicants to act swiftly before the window closes.
