Tunisia have moved swiftly to overhaul their technical bench following a disastrous start to their FIFA World Cup campaign, sacking head coach Sabri Lamouchi after a crushing 5-1 defeat to Sweden.
The Tunisian Football Federation announced the return of experienced French tactician Hervé Renard, handing him the reins of the national team in a bid to salvage the country’s World Cup fortunes.
Renard, widely regarded as one of Africa’s most successful coaches, replaces Lamouchi with immediate effect and is expected to begin work with the squad this evening.
