Edo Lawmaker, Dr. Edosa Pays Tribute to Fathers, Urges Continued Commitment to Family Values

Hon. Dr. Richard Osaro Edosa, Member representing Oredo West Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly, has extended warm felicitations to fathers, guardians, and father figures across Oredo West and Edo State on the occasion of Father’s Day.

In a goodwill message, the lawmaker praised fathers for their unwavering commitment, sacrifices, and invaluable contributions to family stability, community development, and nation building.

Edosa, who is also the Deputy Chief Whip of the Edo State House of Assembly and Chairman of the House Committee on Health, described fathers as the backbone of many homes, noting that their guidance, support, and leadership continue to shape responsible families and a better society.

He commended fathers for the critical role they play in nurturing the next generation and urged them to remain steadfast in upholding the virtues of integrity, responsibility, and compassion.

According to him, fathers must continue to serve as positive role models whose actions inspire young people to embrace values that promote peace, unity, and progress.

The lawmaker also prayed for God’s continued blessings upon fathers and their families, wishing them good health, strength, prosperity, and fulfilment in all their endeavours.
