We at Uptown Press NG do not intend seeing Green Circuit Association International (GCAI) as a cult group, and we have distanced ourselves from a third-party post that described the organisation as such.
Our clarification follows a letter from the law firm Aikpokpo, Okeregha & Co, which we received on Wednesday, October 21st, 2026. The letter demanded an immediate retraction, a public apology and gave notice of intended legal action for defamation.
At the centre of the dispute is a Facebook post by Naija Confra, which tagged GCAI as a cult group. We reposted the update on our online platform.
We want to be clear that we neither originated nor endorsed the claim.
