German Bundesliga club, Bayer Leverkusen, has successfully finalized the signing of Nigerian forward, Victor Boniface, in a significant transfer deal worth up to €20 million.
The 22-year-old talented attacker inked a five-year contract with the club after undergoing a medical assessment last Saturday.
Boniface’s impressive performances on the field, particularly in the UEFA Europa League last season, caught the attention of Leverkusen.
He scored six goals in the competition and even earned the prestigious Europa Goal of the Season accolade.
His standout display against Leverkusen, which garnered praise from coach Xabi Alonso, further solidified his reputation as a skillful and dangerous player.
The transfer fee is set to be paid to his former club, Royale Union Saint-Gilloise in Belgium, as Boniface embarks on a new chapter in his career in the highly competitive German Bundesliga.
