A football revolution is sweeping through Edo South as Distinguished Senator Neda Imasuen will be unveiling the blockbuster Benin Unity Cup, a sensational grassroots tournament set to ignite passions and unearth the next generation of sporting heroes from across the district’s seven Local Governments.
In a move that has set the local sports scene abuzz, Senator Imasuen is fully bankrolling a massive competition designed to do more than crown a champion. The mission is twofold: to forge unbreakable bonds of unity among the communities of Oredo, Orhionmwon, Ikpoba-Okha, Uhunmwonde, Egor, Ovia South-West, and Ovia North-East, and to scour the distric for its hidden football talent.
“This is not just about football; it is about US,” declared Senator Imasuen in a statement. “It is about bringing our communities closer together. It is about finding the hidden Messi and Ronaldo in our streets and villages!”
