Senator representing Edo South Senatorial District, Neda Imasuen, has joined millions of Nigerians in celebrating Vice President Kashim Shettima, GCON, on the occasion of his 59th birthday.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Imasuen extolled Shettima’s contributions to national development, hailing his pivotal role in the National Economic Council as a “key driver in shaping Nigeria’s economic direction.”
He further recalled Shettima’s eight-year tenure as Governor of Borno State and his subsequent service as Senator for Borno Central, describing his political journey as one marked by “exceptional leadership acumen, resilience, and devotion to the service of humanity.”
“On behalf of the good people of Edo South, I join millions of Nigerians in celebrating Your Excellency on this special day. Your unwavering commitment to nation-building, wisdom in leadership, and steadfast support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda remain an inspiration to us all. Happy birthday, Your Excellency,” Imasuen said.
The Senator also prayed for Shettima’s continued good health and longevity, adding: “O Allah, bless him on this day and in all the days of his life, and grant him a long, fulfilling life. Eid Milad Sa’eed.”
