Three people are feared dead following a horrific road accident in Auchi, Edo State, on Sunday. The incident occurred at Igbira Camp, within the Etsako West Local Government Area, when a Toyota Camry collided with an Okada (motorcycle) near Onhemi, a busy area frequented by a large Hausa-Fulani community.

Eyewitnesses described the crash as catastrophic, with several others reported to have sustained injuries of varying degrees. The impact of the collision left residents and onlookers visibly shaken, as emergency services rushed to the scene.

By the time journalists arrived, the bodies of the deceased had been removed, and the injured had been quickly taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. Emergency responders, along with local residents, acted swiftly to manage the aftermath, providing first aid and ensuring the injured were transported promptly for medical care.

While the cause of the crash remains unclear, there are unverified reports suggesting the driver may have been under the influence of substances, prompting further speculation about the involvement of illicit activities.
