The Governing Council at its zoom meeting held Wednesday 29th, September 2021 has approved the appointment of Tpl. Al-Hassan Abubakar Zakariya as Ag. Rector of Auchi Polytechnic.
This blog learnt that, the appointment which takes effect from Sunday, 3rd October 2021 is in line with sections 16(3) and 9(5b) of the Federal Polytechnic Act(as amended)2019.
The appointment will subsist until the appointment of a substantive Rector, subject to the provisions of section 16(3)of the aforementioned Act.
