The Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Edo State Council, Dr. Festus Alenkhe has been conferred with a prestigious Doctoral Fellowship award by the Institute of Public Sector Management (IPSM), United Kingdom.
The award ceremony, held in the heart of London, was graced by key figures in public sector management, including IPSM President Dr. Samatha Radford, and various dignitaries.
The IPSM, a global authority on public sector leadership and development since 1982, presented this distinguished honor to Dr. Alenkhe for his outstanding contributions to public sector management.
Speaking during the award presentation, Dr. Radford praised Dr. Alenkhe for his deep understanding of public sector management and lauded his relentless pursuit of developmental goals in Nigeria’s public sphere.
She stressed that his expertise and leadership are well-recognised across the globe, making him a deserving recipient of the Doctoral Fellow award.

The award ceremony had an emotional touch as Dr. Alenkhe’s younger brother, Mr. Ephraim Alenkhe expressed deep pride in his sibling’s achievements.
He described Dr. Alenkhe as a man of great integrity, whose steadfast dedication and selfless service to the public sector have made him an inspiration to many.
