Fresh details have emerged of the stringent conditions tabled by Super Eagles head coach Eric Sékou Chelle in his bid for a contract extension, including a reported monthly salary demand of $130,000 and a sweeping set of operational guarantees submitted to the Nigeria Football Federation.
The 19-point proposal, formally delivered on January 22, 2026, outlines Chelle’s expectations for improved welfare, enhanced technical support, and greater autonomy in managing Nigeria’s senior national team, as negotiations with the federation gather momentum.

Beyond remuneration, the Malian tactician is seeking a comprehensive upgrade in working conditions.
