The Nigeria’s National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has revoked the licences of AIT, Silverbird TV, Raypower FM, and Rhythm FM amongst others.
NBC Director General Balarabe Shehu said the Commission revokes the licences of the stations over failure to renew their broadcast licences.
Shehu directed its state offices to liaise with security agencies to ensure the shutdown of the operation of these stations within the next 24 hours.
