…I didn’t grant any media interview
The immediate past Deputy Governor of Edo State, Comrade Philip Shaibu on Thursday debunked reports trending on the social media that he faulted President Ahmed Tinubu declaration of State of emergency in Rivers State.
Shaibu Who said at no time he granted an interview on the current happenings in Rivers State said the social media reports is the imagination of the writer.
He added that the video treading is an AI doctored video and therefore advised the writer or the author of the said Media report to pull it down or faces law actions within 12 hours.
While advising the general public to disregard the report, the Former Deputy Governor said happenings in Rivers State is of great concern to everyone but as well know person, I grant interview without fear and my interview is done in both national television and newspapers.
” Honestly, I will give the writer just few minutes to pull down that report. Failure within 12 hours, I will instruct my lawyers to do the needful. You can’t just wake up and cook up a story, is not done. I never granted any interview to anyone about Rivers State.
“Seriously, how can some doctored video and use AI generated video. I will not take this matter likely with the publisher or writers of this nonsense acticle. You can just sit within the confirm of your room and cook up nonsense. “
