Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has called for improved service conditions for healthcare professionals to discourage their migration from the country.
Governor Okowa stated this when he received members of the Committee of Chief Medical Directors and Medical Directors of Federal Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria led by Prof. Abubakar Auwal.
Governor Okowa said that the federal and sub-national governments should prioritize healthcare delivery through deliberate policy frameworks that will allow the country to retain its healthcare professionals.
