Dr. Chile Akunyili was killed, and Simon Ekpa, a self-described follower of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has reacted.
Ekpa attributed the assassination of Akunyili to DSS operatives, describing their denial as the most ludicrous he has seen in over a decade.
He said that the same DSS operatives that assassinated Kanu’s lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor’s personal assistant were responsible for Akunyili’s killing.
Ekpa made the accusation while criticizing DSS’s denial of responsibility for the medical doctor’s murder.
“The DSS denying assassination of Dr Chike is the most ludicrous statement I’ve read in a decade,” Ekpa remarked in a tweet.
