The Immaculate Conception College Old Boys Association, ICCOBA, Class of 1996 recently has successfully earned the Edo State Government certification to operate a multipurpose cooperative society.
Speaking during the July edition of the set’s monthly meeting which was hosted by Mr Egharevbe Erhabor, Miss Otote Adesuwa who is a Cooperative Registrar with the Ministry of Wealth Creation informed the members in attendance that the association have a lot to benefit from the cooperative society.
In his speech, another Cooperative Registrar, Mr. Michael Eboigbe said the Edo State Government is willing to alleviate poverty by all means and so, the cooperative societies are avenues to engage in such desire.
Appreciating the guests from the Edo State Ministry of Wealth Creation, the ICCOBA 96 Set President, Mr Valentine Eromonsele Enaholo appreciate the Edo State Government for finding the ICCOBA 96 worthy of been incorporated into the scheme.
He used the privilege to call on other members who are not captured in the scheme to do the needful as soon as possible.
The byelaws of coorperations was however presented by the Ministry of Wealth Creation to the President of the set, Mr Enaholo.
The ICCOBA Class of 96 has produced medical doctors, head of departments, HODs of tertiary institutions, senior military officers, versatile journalists among others.
