“Permit me to use this sacred occasion of Eid-el-Kabir to enjoin you to reflect on the mood of Nigeria, our dear nation, so that together, we can salvage her from predators who do not mean well for our collective aspirations, especially as we prepare for the 2023 general elections.”
According to the Acting Governor, “as we celebrate, let us remember the poor in our midst and the less-privileged and give them a sense of belonging in the spirit of brotherliness”.
He posited that for Nigeria to be on a pedestal of great and civilized nations of the world, “the 2023 general elections provides an ample opportunity for us to get it right, shun money politics and elect God-fearing and patriotic leaders at all levels of governance”.
He congratulated all Nigerians, while hoping for a peaceful celebration.
