Concerned Stakeholders of Imiava Community in Etsako Central local government of Edo State have stated that the proposed Village Head Nominee of the Community, Mr. Damudi Amedu is not qualified to be the King of the Community.
In a protest letter dated 23rd August, 2021 and signed by Mr. Bello Umoru, Mr Oshioke Braimah and three others said Mr. Damudi Amedu is not qualified to be the King of the Community because he had Carnal Knowledge with his own biological daughter.
They also alleged that Mr. Damudi Amedu has not contributed to the growth of the community, adding that a man that has committed such an abomination is not fit to preside over a Community like Imiava.
According to them, it is a taboo in the entire South Uneme to crown such a man stressing that the Ancestors will not be happy.
The Protesters called on the Oliola of Anegbette and Clan Head of South Uneme to halt the planned coronation.
