Hon. Edosa Richard, the member representing Oredo West constituency in the Edo State House of Assmbly has joined millions of Nigerians and admirers worldwide to celebrate His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II, on the occasion of his 72nd birthday and ninth coronation anniversary.
In a statement issued by his media team, Hon. Edosa hailed the Oba as a beacon of wisdom, peace and cultural renaissance. He praised His Majesty’s leadership for preserving Benin’s ancient heritage while steering the kingdom towards modern progress and renewed global recognition.
“Under Oba Ewuare II’s reign the Benin Kingdom has witnessed a revival of cultural pride, social development and moral discipline,” the statement quoted Hon. Edosa as saying. He also commended the monarch’s tireless advocacy for unity, truth and justice, which he said uplifts Edo people and admirers far beyond the kingdom’s borders.
Hon. Edosa extended warm prayers for the Oba’s long life, divine strength and continued prosperous reign, adding: “May the throne of the Great Benin Kingdom remain an enduring symbol of pride for all Edo sons and daughters, at home and in the diaspora.”
