As 2027 draws near and the political horizon begins to shift once again, the people of Edo South are faced with a question that is both simple and profound: Do we abandon steady progress for untested promises, or do we reinforce the pillars of development that have already been laid down?
In moments such as these, we are reminded of the timeless words of Aristotle, who said, “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” Senator Neda Imasuen has made excellence his habit — not through words, but through visible action.
From provision of transformers that power our communities, to over 1,000 solar-powered street lights illuminating our streets at night, Senator Imasuen has not just spoken about development — he has delivered it. Our young people have felt his impact too, through scholarships that give wings to academic dreams, and free JAMB registrations that remove the barriers to university education.
This is not just representation. This is responsible, responsive leadership.
He has trained traditional birth attendants, arming them with modern techniques to save lives and reduce maternal mortality. He has supported farmers with vital implements, empowering them to feed our homes and markets. He has equipped fashion designers with industrial sewing machines, sewing the threads of self-reliance into the very fabric of our economy.
Even in the most vulnerable corners of Edo South, bags of rice have reached women, children, and families, a testament to a senator who sees and feels the pain of his people.
As Plato once advised, “The measure of a man is what he does with power.” Senator Imasuen has used his mandate not for personal gain, but to uplift Edo South. And if re-elected, he returns to the Senate as a ranking member — not learning the ropes, but pulling the levers of influence from Day One.
Hear me, Edo South constituents. This is important because in the Senate, seniority holds significant weight. Influence matters—access matters. To open more roads, improve water supply, create jobs, expand healthcare, and strengthen education, we need someone who knows the terrain and who can hit the ground running. Senator Neda Imasuen is that man!
So, to the great people of Edo South, let us not gamble with our future. Let us not hit reset when progress is within reach. Let us not reward performance with replacement.
