The Federal Polytechnic, Auchi has rescheduled its resumption date till Monday, March 20th. This is sequel to the postponement of the Governorship and Houses of Assembly election to Saturday 18th, March 2023.
The school had earlier slated March 14 as resumption date after the Federal Government instructed that Polytechnics should be closed ahead of the general elections.
A statement from the Polytechnic’s management, signed by the registrar, Eshiotse Felicia explains that students are expected back on campus on Monday, March 20.

“Following the directive of the Honourable Minister of Education on the closure of all Polytechnics in Nigeria for the purpose of the 2023 General Elections and the subsequent rescheduling of the the Gubernatorial and State House of Assembly elections to Saturday, 18th March, 2023, I am directed to inform all students of Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi, that lectures would resume on Monday, 20th March, 2023”
