The way things are unfolding now, I believe the Labour Party may soon part ways with PO before 2027.
This is apparent in the fact that it seems that the party has two parallel structures – the long standing Labour Party Structure and the Peter Obi Camp (The Olosho that changed location).
The ‘Oloshos’ gave the party the momentum they enjoyed in the last election, while the long standing party members, though unhappy with certain situations such as the imposition of GRV as the Lagos Guber Candidate and hijacking of campaign funds by PO camp’s Doyin Okupe, decided to keep mum and play along while looking at the bigger picture of winning the Presidency.
With the Presidency hope gone for good and the leaked declaration of religious war, which comes on the back of failed legal efforts and street protests that has not lived to the billing of their plan or fantasy, the Labour Party may soon come out and say ‘enough is enough, give us our party back and don’t drag us in the mud with you’
