Dr. S.G. Eshiotse is an accomplished man. He has not only distinguished himself as an educationist but has also excelled as a prolific writer and an administrator. His knack for excellence and avowed commitment to a better society set him apart.
His willingness to persist remains one of his valuable assets. He has just retired from the services of the great Auchi Polytecnic, Auchi, after a meritorious number of years of impacting knowledge on students at the institution.

At Uptown Press NG, it is with great pleasure and admiration that we celebrate the remarkable legacy of Dr. S.G. Eshiotse, who has dedicated more than thirty years to Auchi Polytechnic. Dr. Eshiotse’s contributions to the institution have been significant, and his unrelenting commitment to academic excellence, student success, and institutional progress has impacted countless lives. He is a consummate scholar, an inspirational teacher, and a devoted mentor.
Throughout his tenure at the polytechnic, Dr. Eshiotse has held several roles, including Deputy Rector (Admin), where he has demonstrated exceptional leadership abilities and an unwavering commitment to upholding the highest standards of academic and administrative excellence.
He is widely recognized in the academic community for his substantial contributions to his field, having authored numerous publications.
Before his retirement from Auchi Polytechnic, Dr. Eshiotse was privileged to hold leadership positions ranging from head of department, dean of faculty, director of a specialized directorate, to deputy rector.
He has attended and presented papers at different conferences and learning trainings, such as the Commonwealth of Learning training in Kenya, Uganda and Zambia, Commonwealth Association of Polytechnics in Africa (CAPA) held in Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, Zambia, and Kenya. A member of various associations and societies, such as: Member, National Educational Media Technologists; Member, National Association of Teachers of English in Polytechnics & Colleges of Technology; Institutional Champion, Commonwealth of Learning’s Flexible Skills Development.
Sunny Eshiotse holds a PhD in curriculum and Instruction.
