The programme was inaugurated under the leadership of Hon. Solomon Obomighie FECRMI, with a strong emphasis on collaboration among stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
The launch event, which took place in Etsako Central, was well-attended by a diverse group of stakeholders, including representatives from traditional institutions, persons with disabilities (PWD), market women associations, security agencies, and political leaders.
This wide representation underscored the collective commitment to advancing Edo State through strategic planning and inclusive community involvement.
In a statement released by the Chief Press Secretary, Igbanor Anthony, the importance of the Edo Master Plan in driving development and fostering unity was highlighted. The statement urged all stakeholders to work together towards the common goal of transforming Edo State.
The coordinators of the Edo Master Plan programme in Etsako Central—TPL. Keme Eghegheose Benselem, Osazuwa Lawrence Nosa, and Abdul-Jubri Sherifat—emphasized the collaborative nature of the initiative.
“We are here together, technically orchestrating the process,” they noted, stressing the innovative approaches being employed.
One such innovation is the provision of QR codes to Etsako Central LGA, enabling easy access to relevant information and updates related to the master plan. This technological integration is expected to enhance communication and streamline the implementation process.
