In a statement issued on his website, Trump called for more countries to ban Twitter and Facebook “for not allowing free and open speech”
Trump said he regretted not taking this action as President adding that Zuckerberg made frequent calls and visits to the White House telling him how great he was.
He said, “Congratulations to the country of Nigeria who just banned Twitter for banning their President.More countries should ban Twitter and Facebook for not allowing open and free speech – all voices should be heard…Perhaps I should have done that when I was President. But Zuckerberg kept calling me, telling me how great I was and coming to the white house for dinner. 2024?”
