Super Eagles striker Ahmed Musa has tied the knot for the fourth time, in a quiet wedding ceremony held in Kano on Friday. Uptown Press can authoritatively report.
The 32-year-old football star, who already has three wives, married Asmau Moriki in a low-key event attended by close family and friends. This latest union brings his current number of wives to three, following his divorce from his first wife, Jemila, in 2017. He remains married to Juliet Ejue and Miriam, whom he wed in 2021.
Musa’s brief departure from the Super Eagles camp at the ongoing Unity Cup in England was to attend the wedding. He featured for over 30 minutes in Nigeria’s 2-1 semi-final victory over Ghana, helping the team reach the final. However, he was absent for the final match against Jamaica, having received permission from head coach Eric Chelle to travel for his nuptials.
A celebratory dinner in his honour is scheduled for Sunday.
A devout Muslim, Musa has established a strong presence beyond football, investing significantly in real estate, oil, and recreational ventures in Kaduna, Abuja, Kano, and Lagos. He also owns property in the United States, where his second wife, Juliet, resides.
