Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has assured residents of a brighter and more prosperous future, outlining his administration’s commitment to delivering tangible progress in the year ahead. In a heartfelt New Year message titled: “A Message of Hope and Progress for the New Year”, the Governor reaffirmed his pledge to prioritise education, healthcare, agriculture, security, and infrastructure in the coming months.
Reflecting on the achievements since taking office on 12 November 2024, Governor Okpebholo expressed gratitude to Edolites for their resilience and unwavering support. “2024 brought its challenges but also marked a turning point for Edo State. My Deputy, Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa, and I have initiated steady growth across various sectors. In 2025, we will build on these foundations to make life better for all,” he said.
The Governor emphasised his administration’s focus on creating opportunities for every citizen to thrive, pledging to work collaboratively with the people to unlock the state’s full potential. He also called for continued support from the public, urging residents to rally behind his government and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration at the federal level.
“With your support, a New Edo will rise again,” Governor Okpebholo said. “Together, we can embrace the opportunities of 2025 and build a brighter future for our beloved state. I am optimistic that the bold policies of Mr. President will deliver positive outcomes for Nigeria.”
The Governor concluded his message by extending warm wishes for the New Year, expressing hope for a 2025 filled with health, happiness, and success for all Edolites.
