HITEK AI, the smart facilities management (FM) solutions provider powered by artificial intelligence and part of the Farnek Group, has announced it has achieved ISO 42001 certification — the world’s first international standard for Artificial Intelligence Management Systems (AIMS).
In doing so, HITEK AI becomes the first FM-related company in the Middle East to be awarded this prestigious certification, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to responsible and ethical AI implementation.
ISO 42001 establishes a comprehensive framework for organisations to design, develop, deploy, and continuously improve AI systems with a strong emphasis on transparency, operational excellence, and risk mitigation. The certification was granted following an intensive and independent audit by Callids Global Quality & Standardization, an accredited third-party auditor.

The audit process involved an in-depth evaluation of HITEK AI’s internal systems, including its policies, data governance models, risk management protocols, and ethical safeguards. Throughout the process, the company showcased a robust commitment to secure, transparent, and sustainable AI operations, evidenced by continuous monitoring and systematic improvement of its systems.
