The family of renowned Nigerian music artist Innocent ‘2Baba’ Idibia has formally petitioned the Department of State Services (DSS) regarding the mysterious disappearance of their beloved son and primary breadwinner.
In a petition filed on the 12th of February, 2025, the Idibia family detailed the circumstances surrounding 2Baba’s sudden absence. According to the family’s account, the singer was last seen on the 10th of February, dressed in casual loungewear, which suggested he was embarking on one of his routine walks. However, he has not returned since then, and efforts to track him down by his staff and his record label have proved fruitless.
The family’s concern deepened following reports that 2Baba had recently been featured in a viral video where he appeared to profess romantic interest in Natasha Osawaru, a member of the Edo State House of Assembly.
On the evening of Thursday, 13th February, 2Baba’s mother publicly expressed her distress, accusing Osawaru of allegedly using love charms to manipulate her son, and urged her to cease interfering with their family.
As of the time of writing, the DSS has not issued an official response to the petition. The family continues to seek answers and is calling on the public and relevant authorities to assist in locating the missing star.
