Bendel Insurance Feeders are set to open their promotion bid in the final round of the Nationwide League One (NLO) Division One as they square off against Ekiti United on Monday, 12 May, at the Dapo Abiodun Stadium, Ijebu Ode.
The early morning clash, scheduled for an 8:00 AM kickoff, marks the beginning of the decisive round robin phase for the junior Benin Arsenals, who topped Group B with 13 points—edging out Living Voice FC on goal difference after a tight group stage campaign.
Led by coach Osazee Francis, the Insurance Feeders will face Group A leaders Ekiti United in their opening fixture. The Ekiti side arrive in strong form, having collected a perfect 15 points from their five matches to top their group, ahead of second-placed Adanimogo FC.
Only the winner of the Ijebu Ode Centre will earn promotion to the Nigeria National League (NNL), making the next week of fixtures critical for all four teams involved.
Bendel Insurance Feeders’ remaining matches are scheduled for Wednesday, 14 May, against Living Voice at 10:00 AM, followed by a final test on Friday, 16 May, against Adanimogo FC, also kicking off at 10:00 AM.
The Feeders’ road to the final four has been nothing short of impressive. They opened their campaign with a resounding 4-0 win over FC Rolly, followed by a 2-1 victory against Big 100. A 2-0 triumph over Delta FC on Matchday 3 further cemented their dominance. Despite being held to a goalless draw by Living Voice in Matchday 4, they bounced back emphatically with a 3-0 win over Junosa United FC to seal top spot in Group B.
With momentum on their side and a clear path ahead, Insurance Feeders will be hoping to carry their strong form into the final round and secure a coveted place in the NNL.
