The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed that music promoter Balogun Olamilekan Eletu, also known as Sam Larry, is now in custody.
Sam Larry is being investigated regarding the death of Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.
According to the spokesperson of the command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, Balogun Olamilekan Eletu is now in their custody and is currently assisting with an ongoing investigation.
This development followed the viral video that showed Sam Larry invading the set of a music shoot and threatening Mohbad with armed men before his controversial death on September 12, 2023.
In response to the ongoing investigation, Naira Marley, the Marlian Record label boss, has claimed that he is making arrangements to return to Nigeria to honour the police invitation.
