Mrs. Josephine Obomighie, the wife of the Executive Chairman of Etsako Central Local Government Area, has issued an urgent call for women in the community to prioritise breast cancer prevention.
This was conveyed in a statement released by Igbanor Anthony, the Chief Press Secretary of the Office of the Executive Chairman of Etsako Central LGA.
In her statement, Mrs. Obomighie stressed the importance of proactive measures in addressing the growing concern of breast cancer within the local community.

“As women, we must take charge of our health and make breast cancer prevention a priority,” Mrs. Obomighie urged.
She outlined key steps for women to follow, including self-examination, mammography for women aged 40 and above, and participating in breast ultrasound screening programmes for those under 40.
Her message seeks to raise awareness about the significance of regular screenings, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and embracing self-examination practices as crucial steps toward breast cancer prevention.
