Popular Yoruba movie actress Mosun Filani has revealed why she decided to take a break from acting after she got married to her husband, while also stating how she arrived at the decision to focus on her marriage.
In a video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Oyinmomotv during an interview with media personality Damilola Banire, she made it known that her marriage would not have worked out if she did not stop acting in movies.
In her statement, she said, “My marriage with my husband wouldn’t have worked if I didn’t stop acting in movies.
“I’m the one who willingly took the decision to make the sacrifice in order to concentrate on my family, my husband didn’t have any influence on my decision.
“Some of my colleagues have been calling for jobs in the movie industry, but I’m still not ready to start acting in movies again.
Whatever you will do to make your marriage work pls do because you are making money to take care of family.
