A Nigerian businessman has publicly voiced his despair after suffering a robbery that saw ₦70 million worth of goods stolen from his store.
Taking to TikTok, he shared his grief and frustration, recounting the details of the loss and expressing deep emotional turmoil.
In one of the posts, the visibly distressed man can be seen tearfully speaking on the phone. A caption in his post suggests a sense of hopelessness, reading, “To my wife, I love you so much. To my kids, I love you and want a good life for you. Depression is real; I hope to find peace now because I have tried my best, and I see no way forward.”
In another post, he directed his disappointment at the security personnel who were present during the heist.
“As a security guard, you witnessed robbers attacking your workplace and did nothing while they rolled out my safe box containing goods worth over ₦70 million,” he wrote.
“You only started calling for help after they carried it away. Explain to me how this makes sense.”
Following his posts, a wave of sympathy and encouragement flooded the comments, with many Nigerians rallying to lift his spirits.
