Okene Local Government Area has taken the lead role of galvanizing grassroot support for Chief Barr. Natasha Hadiza Akpoti-Uduaghan ahead of 2023 General Elections.
Gathered in their numbers in solidarity for the Kogi Central PDP Senatorial Candidate, various support fora comprising of Artisans, Market Women, Community stakeholders and party card carriers were sighted across different wards and streets of the Local Government.
Speaking on-behalf of Onyukoko volunteer group under the slogan “Natasha My Choice”, the group leader expressed overwhelming joy to see potential voters coming out to indicate support for Natasha.
“I am happy that our people are coming out in good numbers to discuss our project which is Natasha for Senate 2023. Issues of PVCs are being emphasized in our weekly meetings and our members are seriously showing readiness to ensure victory comes 2023.
In the same vein, the coordinator of Orietesu Ward Meeting for Natasha stated that Natasha’s project is people’s project and that his group will leave no stone unturned in making sure that the ward give Natasha overwhelming support and vote in the coming election.
Other wards include, Lafiya/Obessa, Bariki, Agassa/Ahache where old men and women were present with determination towards the success of the project.
