Senator Monday Okpebholo, the APC governorship candidate for the Edo State gubernatorial election, has issued a statement of congratulations to the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sanni, and the people of Kaduna State on the successful rescue of the abducted Kuriga schoolchildren.
The rescue operation was led by the Nigerian Army and the National Security Adviser to the President, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu.
In his statement, Senator Okpebholo praised the gallantry of the security agencies involved in the rescue mission and applauded the APC administration, led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for prioritizing the security of Nigerians. He expressed his optimism that the current efforts would eventually rid the country of insecurity and usher in national prosperity.
Senator Okpebholo promised to make security a major focal point in his campaign for the forthcoming governorship election in Edo State.
